With baby Michael in the house and lots of new projects in both lives,
Brian and John have found it harder and harder to create this comic on
a regular schedule (as you’ve probably noticed). We’re going to
officially drop into “experimental mode” in January 2012, posting our
comics on an irregular schedule, whenever we get the chance.
Creating Brian and John is a lot of fun and it has become an
important part of our lives. We would hate the idea of letting it go
completely, so we won’t. We do hope to bring you a second book this
year, a collection of the comics that came after the first book, and
we also hope we can find the time to make plenty of new comics. But
it’s pretty clear that we can’t hold ourselves to a three-a-week
schedule right now, so we’re not going to promise it.
We wish you the best 2012 possible, and we welcome your thoughts.
