Dear readers:

Our comic will experience a brief reduction in content as one of its contributors, unemployed game designer James Ernest, goes to Las Vegas for the first half of June to participate in the Junior Executive World Series of Poker. This is a 13-day event consisting of James Ernest making stuff up. And playing a lot of poker.

Skippin’ a Beat

Brian and John are skipping three comics this week (Friday, Monday, and Wednesday) so that we can “spend more time with our families.” Actually, that awesome Old West series really took a lot of energy. Oh, and Brian still has a new baby. Oh, and John is in Las Vegas.

On the plus side, we have nearly enough comics to put together a second book already! Please encourage us in our efforts to complete it, by telling all your friends to buy book 1!

Happy New Year to the fans of Brian and John

Over the Holiday you might have noticed that we posted fewer comics than usual. This was due in part to the persistent unwillingness of Renaissance Italians to assassinate themselves (it’s a video game, folks) and more importantly to the arrival of a brand new little Brian called Michael.

Yes, the recent strips about Jen being preggers were not entirely fictional. Mother, father, child, and older sibling are doing just fine, and they wish everyone a happy new year.

Comics will begin again on their regular schedule, any day now. And we will also bring you news, very soon, of a real live paper book of Brian and John strips!

Archive Fixed!
